Cellar Door Staff *accom Available*

River-T Wines is hiring!

We are currently looking for two workers (ideally would suit a couple). Our boutique, family owned vineyard and cellar door is located in the picturesque Waitaki Valley, just outside of Kurow. We are a small, but dedicated team at River-T Winery and are looking for the perfect people to join us.  

Our Cellar Door staff are responsible for ensuring our guests have an enjoyable experience. Wine knowledge and service skills are desirable however if you are enthusiastic about the industry and keen to learn, this can be learnt on the job. 

As the Cellar Door offers food options alongside its wine tasting experience, you would also be asked to assist with kitchen duties as needed. 

This job role is predominantly in the Cellar Door however, shifts in the vineyard will also be available to provide you with more hours if wanted and a well rounded knowledge of the general runnings of the wineyard.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in the hospitality industry 

* Energetic, positive with an outgoing personality 

* Duty managers licence and barista skills preferable but not essential 

* Good communication skills and confident when speaking to groups of people

* A quick learner with the ability to work under pressure

* A NZ resident or have a valid NZ work visa

Accommodation on the vineyard can be offered if required. We are ideally looking for staff that will be available through the remainder of our season - through to May.
