Warehouse Assistant/class 1 Driver - South Auck

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a leading organisation within the Health Sector. 

Located in Otahuhu in South Auckland you will be working as part of a motivated Stores/Inventory team working full time hours. 

Starting ASAP this opportunity will keep the successful candidate busy for at least the end of the month and extension will be reviewed on a month by month basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow your supply chain knowledge working within a large and complex organisation.

Usual working week and hours will be Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm.

What the role involves:

• Processing inwards goods
• Driving a manual van to distribute around South Auckland areas - full class 1 drivers license ESSENTIAL
• Ensure stock incoming is correct and not damaged
• Labelling goods
• Stock rotation
• Dealing with stock issues including stock returns, missing stock and over stock levels
• Other adhoc duties as they arise
• Updating systems

To be considered you will have:

• Previous stores/inventory experience
• A full clean drivers license and ability to drive a manual van
• An understanding of how a warehouse works
• The ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
• Be fit and happy with manual lifting and moving stock around a large organisation
• The availability to work the occasional weekend
