Has just completed a 2 month roadtrip without missing a beat. It’s an old car though, so I recommend to drive it gently. That said, still manages accelerating to 90km/h on a steady uphill with a 500kg load (5 big ppl + all their backpacks & food-stash).
*UPDATE* - unfortunately we rolled into the car in front of us with 5km/h on a downhill queue, which caused some denting of the front and disabled the AC unit. (See photo). Still drives without issues, car mechanics are unaffected, but it will need a new bumper to fit the lights to pass a new WOF in November 2025. We drove up from Abel Tasman to Auckland without issues.
Selling as we’re continuing our travels beyond NewZealand.
