Urgently Needed Strawberry Packers

Payment: Paid Position ($16.50 + 8% Holiday Pay)
Location: Riverhead
Region: Auckland
Experience: No Experience Necessary

Strawberry season is here and we're urgently needing Strawberry Packers.

Apply if you can commit to work till MID January 2019 ( end of contract date).

We're Looking for a Strawberry Packers with the following skills and attributes:


·                   Stack fruits in crates

·                   Attention to detail and good eye coordination

·                   Learn fast, can adopt working environment and a team player.

·                   Fill punnets according to weight and presentable manner.

·                   Grade, pack and store crops according to market specifications ( TAG 1, TAG2, rejects and Export).

·                   Assemble packaging and crates

·                   Ensure proper handling of the strawberries when packing

·                   Ensure quality control procedures and food, health and safety regulations are followed

·                   Ensure equipment and machinery are maintained

·                   Cleaning the conveyor at the end of work.

·                   Ensure contaminated produce is disposed appropriately

·                   Can communicate well and get along with others.


Experience is an advantage but not necessary.

We do have an accommodation on the site but its optional as the farm is not accessible to public transport ( limited slots only)
