About the role 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Porter to join the existing front office team in a part time role. You will promote positive guest experiences through welcoming guests, explaining hotel facilities and anticipating guests' needs. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Assist with guest luggage
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Hotel's public areas
  • Attend to guest requests
  • Ability to work day and night shifts and tending to the private guest bar and lounge on occasion

Key skills and experience:

  • Proven customer service skills

  • Excellent English is essential for this position

  • Professional manner and impeccable presentation

  • Physical capability to lift and transfer guest luggage

  • Flexibility to work all shifts including weekends

  • Full clean NZ driving licence
