Wood Machinist Or Cnc Operator

Payment: Paid Position
Location: Cromwell
Region: Otago/Queenstown/Wanaka
Experience: Experience Necessary

We require an experienced wood machinist or CNC operator with excellent plan reading and communication skills. Successful applicant must be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and be able to work unsupervised as well as being able to work as a team member. You will join a large and successful team with excellent conditions and wages

A mix of SCM And WEEKE machines so experience in either of these would be advantageous. Also experience with Software ASPAN, WOODWOP, VECTORWORKS or and CAD based programmes is highly desirable

Duties will generally include operation and maintenance of CNC machinery as well as assisting in general joinery production along with additional responsibilities in Inwards Goods and stock Control.

The successful candidate will require the following:

- New Zealand Residency or valid work permit

- Have good written and verbal communication skills

- Have great people skills and a strong focus on customer expectations

- Be able to work overtime should the need arise

- Be organised and efficient

- Be honest, Hardworking and reliable
