Great Dairy Farm Assistant Job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, honest, reliable and hardworking person to join our team on the Waitaki plains, 15 minutes from Oamaru.

Can start now, or over the next 2 weeks

3 hours, to Christchurch, 1.5 hours to Dunedin, 3 hours to Queenstown

We milk 1750 cows through 2 dairy sheds, a rotary and herringbone. You’d be part of a 8 person team

The farm has recently been developed, with central lanes, pivot irrigation and good machinery. This farm is well kept making for a tidy workplace

Previous experience on farm is required.


Jobs that you’ll be asked to do included, but aren’t limited to:

·      Milking cows

·      Pushing cows to the cowshed

·      Break fencing

·      Feeding calves

·      Weed control


Accomodation will be provided in a 3 bedroom furnished house sharing with 2 others.

The farm is smoke and drug free.
