At Home Wellington is a small award-winning 12-room Boutique Apartment Style Hotel in the centre of the city with major attractions such as Te Papa Museum on the doorstep.   www.athomewellington.com

We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our small team, providing relief cover for the on-site Managers.

The applicant needs to be available to work up to 3 mornings mornings per week - days all according to occupancy.

We are offering up to 72 hours per month consisting of two 6 hour Relief Manager shifts 7 am - 1 pm for one week, and one 6 hour Relief Manager shift 7 am - 1 pm AND one 9 hour Relief Manager shift 7 am - 4 pm for every other week. Housekeeper shifts of 2 hrs (flexible) on days of higher occupancy (rosters worked out as best as possible two weeks prior) with up to 6 hours per week for Housekeeping / cleaning.

We would like a commitment of up to 3 mths 01 MAY thru (say) approx. 31 July 2018, if possible or as agreed. We believe this position is ideal for a backpacker / international traveller hostelling or living in the CBD wanting to top up income.  

This role involves working autonomously and requires an ability to manage your own time and prioritise your workload effectively.  A large part of this role is housekeeping, so prior cleaning experience would be an advantage but not entirely necessary as training will be provided. We take pride in the appearances at atHome Wellington by our reviews which guests continiously mention the cleanliness of our Units.

The Relief Manager will respond to guest queries, answer the phone, make new bookings, monitor emails, manage guest check in and out procedures and, collect payment.  Seekom Reservation system training will be provided. Knowledge of a variety of local activities in the area is a must.

Our ideal candidate will speak good English, pay attention to detail, deliver high standards of service and meticulously clean rooms ensuring a delightful guest experience.  

Start date approximately 01 May          Week One : provides 8 hours training (perhaps in week prior or by arrangement).
