Dairy Farm Assistants/farm Hands

We are a family run business who require a person, couple or friends, with some experience in farming (preferably someone off a farm who wants to learn the kiwi way) to assist us on our 700 cow farm in Reporoa.

The job starts now and is available until the end of December.  Duties include milking, record keeping, general farm duties and operating some machinery if required.

Good communication, attitude and attention to detail is essential.  Knowing your way around a quad bike, a cowshed, animals and general farm equipment is preferred.  Being able to work unsupervised and drive large machinery is a plus.

11 on, 3 off roster.  Shared accomodation in a furnished house provided.
