The Allied Pickfords branch located in Mt Wellington is now seeking a highly motivated, customer service focused and experienced HANDYMAN/REMOVALIST to join their busy team.

 

Are you looking for a role with variety and in a team environment?

 

The position will involve physical work and heavy lifting, so you must be fit and healthy and be interested in a physical challenge. You will also need a customer focus and good communication skills as you will often be liaising with customers. This role will also involve assembling home/ flat packed (IKEA) furniture, touch up painting, wall plastering, timber floor repairs , timber crate building.

Position requirements include:

 

·         Previous Removals experience is desirable but not necessary

·         Demonstrated skill set as a handyman or similar role e.g. fitter

·         Customer service skills

·         Good communication skills

·         Flexible in your approach to working hours

·         Drivers licence required, manual preferred
