Cafe Cook/chef

Tahi NZ is looking for an experienced Cook/Chef to manage our small but busy cafe for the upcoming summer season. 

Situated in the beautiful beachside community of Pataua North (30 minutes east of Whangarei), Tahi Café is part of the larger award-winning Tahi New Zealand conservation project and Manuka Honey business.

If you would like to be part of a small but fun team working in a pristine part of New Zealand, then we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for someone with culinary imagination and a passion for food to help create a delicious new menu. 

Applicants must be experienced in running a small commercial kitchen and able to demonstrate a high standard of food handling and hygiene. We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in healthy, seasonal cooking and can work well under pressure.

This position is full time, fixed term from mid-December through to mid-February. Accommodation in the local area may be available.
