Are you in New Zealand on a working holiday visa? Here's an opportunity to travel and work at the same time!

We have a Christchurch-based casual part time position available for motivated individuals (or couples) to join our business, cleaning filters and grease extraction systems for commercial kitchens. Christchurch based with work and travel throughout the South Island

Work at night and sightsee in the day. Travel throughout the South Island, flexible hours, good rate of pay plus travel allowances, vehicle provided for company use. No experience necessary and full training provided

Based in Christchurch, there is around 2-3 weeks work per month (11-15 nights per month), travelling throughout the South Island. We pay per job completed (piecemeal). The total value for the work per month would be around $2300 including allowances. There will be the opportunity for additional work as well. We provide a work vehicle to complete the work and travel between jobs but you would need your own transport during the time not working.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Duties include:

·         Cleaning of grease extraction systems in Commercial restaurants, including filters, flues, ducting, rooftop fans and hoods. This involves some lifting, working at height and industrial cleaning.

·         Driving between our clients premises will be required, with some long distance travel.

·         Adherence to health and safety guidelines and security procedures. Daily equipment checks at end of shifts.

·         Keeping service records and managing schedule on a shared calendar. Regular reporting, and communication with management.

ABOUT YOU:

·         relevant NZ work permits before applying (minimum 3 month working holiday visa)

·         Full NZ drivers licence, no criminal convictions, be willing to agree to a police check and/or drug test.

·         strong work ethic with high standards and an eye for detail

·         resourceful, able to use your initiative and have a positive can-do attitude

·         confident driver at night and over long distances

·         good communicator, with the team, management and customers
