Massage Therapist & Day Spa / Retreat Assist

We are located in the beautiful Alpine Villlage of Hanmer Springs. We are looking for 1 or 2 enthusaiastic, professional, skilled and caring massage therapists to join our team vibes ASAP. 

This position would  suit individuals or a couple with a dream to run their own holistic day spa & /or well-being healing retreat one day.

The massage therapy work would include the combination of relaxation and deeper tissue full body massage techniques tailored to the indiviual needs and pressure requirements of each client.  

Other helpful supportive modalities or / & experiences to include in your response would be with Hot Stone Therapy, Therpeutic Massage, Indian Head Massage, Facials, Body Exfoliations, Sports & Remedial Massage, Reiki, Sound Healing, Yoga, Meditation. 

Our RETREAT & DAY SPA culture and approach is intended to be adaptive, holistic, professional, presonalised, relaxing, caring and intuitive. 

We are looking for those whose character is trust worthy, caring, trainable, adaptive, intuitive, creative, genuine, self responsible, authentic, curious, assertive and can work alone or within a small team. 

You are naturally enthusaiastic about well-being and supporting both yourself and your clients with the release of stress and tensions while enjoying beautiful experiences that promotes harmony and healing in a beautiful retreat and natural environment. 

We are looking for non smokers / light drinker.

Pref: Vegetarian / Vegan at the retreat. We are 90% plant based at the retreat.

The position live in includes accommodtion and food in exchange for retreat assistant hours. Live out is also a option. 

Along with day spa hours you will have the options to spent time helping out with cleaning, meeting and greeting retreat guests, admin / marketing and some gardening ( optional ) or just helping out where ever is required on the day. 

Training and Gudaince offered along the way. We provide a relaxed, harmonious, co-creative beautiful environement.

When you take this training you are eligable apply for our internship exchange program for 3 months post the training at the retreat and gain valable experience in massage and living a retreat wellness lifestyle. Over this time you will gain invalable knowledge, confidence and experience within the wellness industry that will support your next steps in life and career doing what you love and loving what you do and how you get to serve.
