We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and fully qualified chef to assist in running our Small and busy restaurant kitchen. L’Hotel Bar and grill (Bistro) offers a casual dining experience with stunning views that overlook the Akaroa Harbour. It features high quality modern New Zealand cuisine, with an emphasis on taste and visual, fresh seafood caught in the local area. It is an owner operator business that often caters for a variety of events including small weddings and corporate functions.

The successful applicant will have previous experience:

  • Working as a team player
  • Monitoring supplies
  • Think outside the box.
  • 2 or more years’ experience or demonstrate their culinary experience

Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated culinary expertise. We want someone with creativity and passion to help us produce innovative dishes and enhance the overall dining experience for our customers.

A working interview is a must and 1 year on any working visa’s
