Barista / Cafe Assistant

Position: F&B Attendant / Barista - Join Our Vibrant Cafe!

Our bustling and beloved Jack Rabbit Cafe, located in the heart of Lake Tekapo, is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our front-of-house crew, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers feel welcome and have an unforgettable time at our cafe.

The position is full time - $24 - $25/h depending on experience + 8% holiday pay.

We are looking for someone with barista experience who is able to commit at least for 3 months or longer and can start on the 1st May 2024.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a front-of-house role in a cafe, restaurant
• Barista skills
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable personality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for food and hospitality, with a desire to create memorable experiences for customers.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
