Regenerative Dairy Farm

We have a position available on our Regenerative Dairy Farm for the someone with the right skills and attitude.

This position has become available as our current employee is injured and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.

We are located at Waiwera South which is 35 mins to the Catlins (world class surfing) and 2.5 hours to Wanaka or Queenstown. 

We are adopting regenerative principles which involves reducing fossil fuel use and involves system thinking and working with nature.

Some of the cool stuff we do on farm are holistic grazing, large scale composting, winter bale grazing, and tree planting for agroforestry and silvopasture.

Experience we are looking for include but are not limited to milking cows, shifting electric fences, motor bike, tractor and tele-handler driving and working in a farm team.

The position would ideally be for a commitment of at least one year.

House available on farm.

Flexible roster but currently we run a 5:2 

Wet weather gear and boots supplied.

We are very lucky to have had several awesome employees from all parts of the world work here on Westridge Farm so we are experienced with employment of people from outside of NZ.
