Position: Experienced Cook / Chef

Want to make delicious food, work with great people and live in one of NZ's most beautiful places? Ethels Cinema, Café and Bar is a popular boutique twin-screen cinema situated in the picturesque seaside town of Akaroa, located an hour's drive from Christchurch. We require an experienced, adaptable short order cook / chef with a broad skill set who is no stranger to working in a busy & fast paced kitchen. We are looking for someone who is able to commit for 3 months to 6 months over the autumn/winter season, and can start from the 1st of May (or immediately for the right person).

We're paying $25/30ph PLUS benefits including free movies, staff meals and discounts! If you have a passion for food, 2 years or more previous kitchen experience, bundles of enthusiasm and a can do attitude we would love to hear from you. There's plenty to see & do in your time off - hiking one of our world renowned tracks, biking, surfing, fishing, paddle boarding or kayaking, the list goes on…

Applicants must have a valid work visa or are a NZ resident. Hours negotiable between 15 and 35hrs per week.
