Calf Rearer Farm Assistant

We are looking for an experienced farm worker/calf rearer to join our team from the 20th July 2024. We are a large progressive dairy farm milking 1800 cows across 2 sheds on the Canterbury Plains, just out of the town of Hororata. We are 40 mins to Mount Hutt ski field and to porters pass which is great for recreational activities. 

The job will require you to be physically fit and have own transport and current drivers license, duties will include feeding calves, helping to bring cows into the shed for milking and possibly milking if you have the experience. Single accommodation is available. You will need to be very hard working, spring time on a large dairy farm is very busy.
