Landscape Gardener Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced team leader based out of our Queenstown office. You will be leading a team of up to 3 staff members, across a range of landscaping & maintenance projects. This is a hands on role, where you will be not only managing the team, but also carrying out the associated tasks on our projects. You will need to effectively manage your team to achieve the daily targets while maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect.

The following is essential: - 

• Experience of leading a team.
• Experience working from landscape plans.
• Experience with irrigation systems.
• Great people management skills.
• Positive mentoring skills.
• Able to self motivate as well as keep the team motivated.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Using and performing routine maintenance on associated tools & equipment.
• Horticultural experience of at least 2 years, ideally with a qualification.
• Plant/weed identification for a range of species, both native and exotic.
• Clean, full manual driving license.
• The right to work in New Zealand.
