Dairy Assistant

We are looking for someone to work in our calving paddocks, helping with picking up newborn calves, setting up fences and moving stock and any other reasonable task.  This involves using a motorbike and picking up calves. We provide full training and calves are reared to best practice as per our vet approved proceses.  The work will be from mid July and will finish in September.  The roster is 6 days on, 1 days off from around the 25 July-10th September.   Hours a day will be approximately 10+ depending on how many calves are born in a day.  Work starts around 6am.  We provide full training and you will have experienced staff that will help in training.  Warm accommodation (shared with others) to be provided.  You do need to be strong and fit and it would suit someone who is used to working outdoors and physically.
