When you submit an agency application we process and store the information you provide and then make it available to the agency via email. As backpackerboard is based in the EU and some of our users are from the EU we need to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
As such we ask for your consent to not only store and process your application but also to send (and so transfer) your application from our servers in Europe to prospective agencies in other countries outside of the EU like New Zealand.
