How long does the flight take from UK?

The entire flight time from the UK to New Zealand will be dependant on the route taken and the airline you fly with. In all cases there will be at least one stop, either in Asia or the US. Flights via Asia are usually around 25 hours and those via the US, 27  hours. If your airline makes more than one stop (Australia for example), the total journey time/flying time will be more.

Many people choose to take the opportunity to have a one or two night break in the stopover city to break up the marathon flight a little. If you choose to do it all in one go be aware that times vary with respect to how much time you will have to wait before you re-board your plane. It can be as little as an hour or sometimes 8 or 9 hours.
