When you send a noticeboard advertiser a message we check it, store the information and then send it on to the advertiser as an email. As backpackerboard is based in the EU and some of our users are in the EU we need to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
As such we ask for your consent to not only store and process your message but also to email (and so transfer) your enquiry from our servers in Europe to advertisers in other countries outside of the EU like New Zealand.
