Toyota Camry With Equipment

located in Queenstown/Wanaka and listed under Cars & Campervans

I am selling my 2.5 V6 Toyota Camry Gracia station wagon as I am moving back overseas soon. The car is for sale from now on, preferrably though at the end of July before I fly out. I have owned it since October 2017 after buying it from an elderly Kiwi couple who had owned it for about 10 years.

The car has always been serviced by Lliam Toyota in Christchurch (documents available) before I bought it and I have serviced it once after purchase. It still has 2000 km to go until the next service. I recently prepared it for winter and had fluids as well as the radiator checked and topped up. All four tyres have excellent thread, air condition is working as it should, all windows and sun roof are operating nicely. Brakes are in very good condition. The car got a new WOF in March without any problems (documents available).

Don't be put off by the age or the KMs - Toyatas run well more than 400 000 km if serviced regularly. The Camry is an excellent example for this and every mechanic will tell you the same. Every mechanic was surpised by its good shape. Feel free to get a mechanical test!

Here's an overview of its features:

251xxx km

WOF and REGO until end of August 2018

all electronics in good working order

mechanically very sound

under 10 l/ 100 km (even though it's a powerful 2.5 V6 motor)

sunroof (opens fully or partly)

cruise control

all tyres less than a year old/ less than 10 000 km, new front tyres in February

cambelt and water pump renewed by previous owner

seats fold down flat and offer lots of space for mattress or bed (I am 1,76m and was very comfortable sleeping in the car)

Comes with:

roof racks (bought on trademe for $90)

Narley bike rack (hand-made in Christchurch $130)

optional ($150, negotiable)

acoustic guitar (purchased new in Dunedin for $200)

camping equipment (table, chair, Thermarest Air mattress, umbrella, pillow, blanket, picnic blanket)

I bought the car for $3000 (papers available) and bought all the equipment myself; having only driven it for 8000 km I think the price is fair. Feel free to make me any offers though if you cannot pay that much.

Before buying a campervan or car we recommend that you get the vehicle checked by an independent mechanic or have an inspection by the AA undertaken to ensure there are no major faults or problems. If you are renting or taking advantage of a buyback scheme make sure you have a valid contract in place.
