THE REMARKABLES SKI RESORT (South Island)

The Remarkables Alpine Park is known for its true alpine environment, relaxed atmosphere and sense of fun. Snowboarders, freeskiers and families flock to the mountain’s varied trails and backcountry areas.

It’s freestyle heaven with jibs for all levels in three terrain parks – including the new Stash at The Remarkables - and Superpipe. Not-so-serious visitors can forget the boards or skis and enjoy the Ozone Tubing Park. Live music on the deck adds to the ambiance.

Beginners will love the new surface conveyor lifts while everyone benefits from new snowmaking installed this year.

Children aged six and younger get free day passes at The Remarkables Alpine Park – a 45-minute drive (26 km) from central Queenstown.
