CORONET PEAK SKI RESORT (South Island)

Stylish and cosmopolitan, Coronet Peak is the South Island’s most popular mountain resort. Rolling natural terrain combined with sophisticated facilities in a striking new base building attracts skiers and boarders of all age ranges and abilities.

Night skiing and First Tracks mean Coronet Peak offers longer on-snow hours than any other ski area in the country. Automated snowmaking capacity has been tripled for 2008 ensuring quality snow over a long season.

Exuding passion and quality, Coronet Peak facilities include high speed chairlifts, extensive trails, several eateries, heated deck where skiers and non-skiers enjoy the surroundings, retail, rental and repair, Snowsports School and a licensed Skiwiland Crèche.
