Whangarei Backpackers & Hostels
Whangarei is a sunny, subtropical city which has a laid back lifestyle. It also has loads of Maori heritage as it was once the largest fortified Maori village in NZ. And with loads of cafes, shops and a pretty quayside it has lots to offer. The must do thing to do here is visit the Whangarei Falls (claimed to be NZ's most photographed waterfall!)
