This lake front accommodation offers guests a unique opportunity to wander through native bush to the sandy shores of the lake or along parts of the Waiau River, a 3 minute walk through the native beech forest to Pearl Harbour the Doubtful Sound Cruise departure point. Close and convenient to a number of national park walks to explore. The Famous –Circle Track on the Manapouri track has a beautiful bird’s eye view of the lake. Back valley track, Forest Burn & Kepler track are very close. The Kepler Mountains are just north of Manapouri s imposing Hunter Mountains with its spectacular monument in the foreground to the snow-capped cathedral Peaks and framed to the south by the majestic Takitimu’s.
