LKNZ Lodge

LKNZ lodge is located in the township of Ohakune, with restaurants and bars, supermarket, rentals and shops all within a 2 minute walk. Situated right on the doorstep of the Tongariro National Park LKNZ provides quality accommodation to suit all budgets, from kitchenette en-suite rooms, flash packer rooms to budget dorm beds spread over three lodges. As well as having affordable rooms you can book out a whole lodge for your group with a range of options. We also have a licensed cafe onsite. In winter, Turoa and Whakapapa ski fields are the largest in New Zealand and receive the most annual snowfall on average. In the summer you can Canoe, River Raft, do the Tongariro Crossing, or even climb Mt Ruapehu or Mt Ngauruhoe (better known as Mt Doom these days from the Lord of the Rings). With action packed activities in the area all year round LKNZ have loads of local knowledge to share with all of our guest.
