Just got back from my second paraglidng trip here in NZ. I can say that my experience with Flight Park Tandem Paragliding left something to be desired. While the take off was very smooth and quick, so was the rest of the flight. I felt the whole time like the pilot couldnt wait to get it over with. We were in the air JUST BARELY 15 minutes and I know it wasnt the conditions because there were other paragliders out and they were up for far longer. The whole trip including the ride up to Coronet Peak was about an hour and 15 minutes and about 15 or 20 of that was waiting for the ride back.
Perhaps I was spoiled by the guys at Nelson Paragliding when I did it before, but In my opinion, this outfit couldnt wait to get me up, get me down, and get my money.
The flight itself was fine...just short and I felt we were being rushed.
I have no one to compare them with in THIS town, so there is a chance they could be just like all the rest.
That was my experience anyway......
